Stockum, van & Sons

Van Stockum & Sons (now de Vries van Stockum) is a long-established Den Haag family of booksellers and occasional publishers (notably of its Travellers' Handbook for the Dutch East Indies, 1930). It opened in 1833 as a book and paper shop in the Gortstraat. In the 19th century Van Stockum Booksellers was regularly visited by the Royal Family. H. de Vries Boeken acquired the shops in 2011.
